Rachel’s Bio

Rachel Scribner is excited to join Turney LG and contribute her litigation experience to the team!

Rachel received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004 with a double major in Biology and Genetics and her Master of Forensic Science degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2010. Her love of problem solving and interest in both science and law brought her to a career as a paralegal. Since 2006, Rachel’s focus has been on medical malpractice, toxic torts, products liability and commercial litigation, supporting clients on both local and national levels. She has assisted attorneys in trials in multiple jurisdictions around the country and utilizes her unique background to assist counsel with in-depth analysis of cases involving complex medical and scientific issues.

Rachel is an active member of the Kansas City Paralegal Association where she proudly served on the Board of Directors since 2018 and Co-Chairs the Pro Bono and Community Service Section. Through this role, she has had the privilege of being part of the Steering Committee for Harvesters Food from the Bar campaign for the past several years. She and her husband are parents to three amazing boys and enjoy spending time together as family.
